Ride Groupings

Modify settings and columns
Peloton Sports rides can be either in one or multiple groups depending on the number of riders and the ride route. The ride groupings outlines the structure for these rides.

View:
1 Group (A, B, C)
The Single Group will suit members currently riding A, B or C groups. The group will head out at a controlled pace allowing everyone to warm up properly. All bets are off for the climbs where you can smash it or cruze it at your own pace. The structure of the ride will be such that all riders will regroup at the top of climbs or B and C groups will turn shorter to allow for a natural regroup. The one group ride is what Peloton Sports is all about. (Getting everyone out together making one huge peloton) The one group ride will enhance your peloton skills as you can learn how it's done by Peloton Sports A and B riders. It will also give you opportunity to realise that you can make it with the A and B groups. Don't be scared this is the most fun you can have on a training ride and we want to see you there!

2 Groups (A B combined, C)
The Combined A B Group will suit members currently riding A or B groups. The group will head out at a controlled pace allowing everyone to warm up properly. The C Group is to offer some continuity and further development of those riders currently taking part in the Saturday C group rides and to invite new members to also join in on Sunday rides. The C group rides will serve to work to improve endurance, bike skills and how to ride effectively within a Peloton as well as to train riders to a level of fitness where they will be confident, capable and comfortable in joining future B group Rides. The distances marked for the C group Rides will be between 40-80km and the average speed will be between 24-26k/ph.

2 Groups A and B
The A Group is a solid ride for those Peloton Sports
members who like a longer ride at a higher training intensity. These
rides will suite members who like extending themselves to the limit and those riders
who are training for events that require longer rides to increase their fitness and endurance. The estimated
average speed of the A rides will be between 30-33k/ph. The A group always regroups at the top of the major climbs.

The B Group is to offer another ride for those Peloton Sports members who simply prefer a
"training pace"on a ride. This ride will suite members who are returning from illness or injury and
those riders who are training for events and require a slightly easier training ride to"save" their legs for that
event. The ride is also designed for those A group riders who want a more relaxed pace on any ride and vice versa,
any B group rider who has been conserving loads of energy, may want to challenge the slightly faster group!
The estimated average speed of the B rides will be between 26-28k/ph. The B group Ridemaster always makes sure the group stays together.
