Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider the Canberra Training Camp is a challenging couple of days that can be enjoyed by everyone in the club. While there are plenty of hills there are also plenty of fast paced descents (want to do 100km/h?) and long flat sections to keep everyone challenged.

Hunter Tour

Every year since 2001, Turramurra Cyclery and Peloton Sports have ridden from Turramurra to the heart of the Hunter - Cessnock. Come and join us for a very scenic tour through Peats Ridge and the glorious Hunter. This ride is fully supported with a mechanic on standby and all your bars and drinks on hand. And, best of all, the Peloton Sports Turramurra Cyclery elite team are there as your personal domestique's - which is not something that you can count on for most rides.

Italy Training Camp
|
Travel northern Italy exploring the Italian Alps, the Swiss Alps, the Dolomites, and the spectacular cities of Como, Venice and Treviso! Experience the epic climbs of the Giro d'Italia and world championships while enjoying the quaint, picturesque mountaintop villages and spectacular views. In addition to cycling, this tour provides unforgettable walking tours of Como, Treviso and Venice. Climbing highlights include the challenging passes of the Madonna d' Ghisallo, Stelvio, Gavia, Umbrail, Mortirolo, Pordoi, Sella, Fedia, Cima Campo, Croce d'Aune, Brocon, Manghen & Rolle. The tour begins at Lake Como, which offers a wealth of spectacular climbs and incredible scenery, and also is home to many of the world’s best professionals. Cyclists have the opportunity to participate in the famous Granfondo Campagnolo cycling event. This tour offers a healthy mix of both challenging climbs and easier rides for rest and recovery. We spend multiple days in various locations with plenty of time for sightseeing.

Lake Taupo Tour
|
The Wattyl Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge began in 1977 and it is now one of New Zealand's most popular sporting events. It is a fun, non-competitive bike ride around New Zealand's largest lake, Lake Taupo, a distance of 160 km. There are five different Challenges; the solo rider's 160km challenge, a 160km relay (2,3 or 4 riders), a 320km twice round the lake "Enduro" and a 500km "Super Enduro". There is also a Classic Race component for the elite rider. There is a carnival atmosphere at the finish. Peloton Sports take a group each year on a 5 star sporting tour to challenge the lake.
